Across a remarkable career spanning more than five decades, Norma Winstone has established herself as one of Europe’s most original and expressive jazz voices. Celebrated for her extraordinary musicianship, improvisation and gift for storytelling, she moves effortlessly between words and wordless song, bringing an unmistakable warmth and intelligence to every performance. Her many honours include a Jazz FM Lifetime Achievement Award and an MBE for services to music.

Alongside her, award-winning pianist and composer Nikki Iles brings the lyrical, imaginative playing that has made her one of the defining exponents of British jazz. Long-time collaborators and musical friends, Winstone and Iles share an instinctive rapport, creating music of wonderful subtlety, freedom and beauty.
