This session involves clapping and chanting, deep breathing, childlike playfulness, laughter exercises and laughter meditation to boost all round health and well-being. Eye contact connects us with others and we share laughter and fun together and explore our imagination through simple laughter exercises!

Scientifically proved to strengthen immunity, enhance oxygen flow, uplift mood and foster social connections. Cultivates mindfulness inner joy and deepens gratitude. Laughter sessions allow our brains to have a break from the rut of daily life and therefore refresh our thinking and nurture new neural pathways.

Katie Gape a certified Laughter Yoga Leader, trained to advanced level under the direct teaching of Laughter Yoga founder Dr Madan Kataria. Katie is also an Occupational Therapist with a passion for how laughter helps us in life, and has spoken on the subject at national and international conferences. Katie has theatre training, working with many different types of performance arts and with well known performers seeing the reduction in stress when laughter is practised.
