Gary Ryan is widely regarded as one of Britain’s leading classical guitarists and is also a distinguished composer for the instrument. He has earned international acclaim through his performances and has toured extensively across the UK as part of the celebrated Six Hands trio, alongside legendary classical guitarist John Williams and jazz guitarist John Etheridge. In addition to his performing career, Ryan serves as Head of Strings and Professor of Guitar at the Royal College of Music. This program will primarily highlight mainstream classical guitar repertoire, featuring well-known works by composers who have written for the instrument, along with a selection of his own arrangements.
