Salisbury Medieval Hall

Good Mistresses and Gentlemen all.

Pray take heed that on February 3rd next in the year of our Lord 2023 within the confines of the Medieval Hall Salisbury there will be performed for your pleasure and delight a Tudor Masque. Witness a dramatic presentation of the trial of Mary, Queen of Scots. Come hear the melodious sound of the woodwind, marvel at the wit and words of Master Marlowe and his 'History of the Damnable Life and Deserved Death of Dr John Faustus’ complete with Devils, Dragons and Demons.

Imagined and crafted by our theatre master Paul Borrelli and brought to us by the actors Courtney Spence and Hannah Stokely ably assisted by goodly friends from the lauded Farrant Singers, the finest Close Consort of recorders and, for your pleasure and delight, fantastical puppeteers with their wondrous creatures to, in equal measure, frighten and please us all.
Come, all ye, to the ancient Great Hall, and leave outside the cold, the wet, the
drab and the frustrations of the world in exchange for political intrigue, jealousy, violence but also the most agreeable amusement, laughter, comedy, and joyous entertainment of the splendid days of our first Elizabethan era.
